RoboForm2Go USB key is our own USB key that was designed and tested to work best with RoboForm2Go software. You can buy it in addition to RoboForm2Go software or you can use your own USB key.

How to Install.
When you receive RoboForm2Go USB key that you purchased:
* Insert RoboForm2Go key into USB socket of the computer where you have desktop (Fixed) RoboForm. If you have not used RoboForm before, any desktop or laptop computer would do.
* Computer recognizes new USB device and installs drivers.
* RoboForm2Go install window comes up.
* Click "Install RoboForm2Go" button and follow instructions.
* Rf2Go installer will copy passcards and identities from your desktop RoboForm to USB key, there is an option for that.
* Click "Activate RoboForm Pro" button and proceed to activate your purchased copy of RoboForm2Go.
* The above installation and activation should be done only once per USB key, upon unpacking it.

How to Use.
* To start using RoboForm2Go key, plug it into a client computer.
* It starts file PortableRoboform.exe from your USB drive that attaches RoboForm to your browsers.
* To stop using RoboForm2Go key, simply unplug it.
* If data was written to the key, right-click "Removable Devices" icon and select "Safely Remove" to ensure flushing of the data.

Pass2o USB Key Versions.
At end end of May 2006 we switched from 64Mb USB key to 256Mb USB key for RoboForm2Go.
Since these keys have different controllers, their formatting and driver installation instructions are different.

256 Mb key. Part Number 621DASOG-256M.

How to Format:
* Your RoboForm2Go key comes preformatted, so there is no need to format it when you receive it.
* You should format the key only if your key loses data and/or cannot be read or written.
* Install the "USB Flash Disk Format Tool" from here: Pass2GoFormat256.exe
* Click START FORMAT button and confirm.
* Once it is done it, unplug and reinsert your USB drive.
* This USB disk does not autorun on Windows 2000 computers, unless your format it in HDD (Local Disk) mode. To format USB disk in HDD mode, you need a Windows 98 computer with the above driver installed. Insert USB drive into Win98 computer, start formatting utility, check box "USB HDD Boot" in Configuration tab.

How to Format:
* Your RoboForm2Go key comes preformatted, so there is no need to format it when you receive it.
* You should format the key only if your key loses data and/or cannot be read or written.
* Install the "RoboForm2Go Flash Disk Utility" from here: Pass2GoUtility.exe
* Insert the RoboForm2Go disk into the socket.
* Start the utility from "Start -> Programs -> USB Flash Disk Utility -> USB Flash Disk Utility".
* When it detects the USB drive, click the PARTITION button, choose USB-HDD and click OK.
* Formatting can take up to 2 minutes to complete, so be patient.
* Once it is done it, unplug and reinsert your USB drive.
